We are now able to print worksheets, visual schedules, communication boards, picture cards, and individualized activities that support our students' daily learning needs. Having access to this technology allows us to provide students with fresh, engaging materials that match their learning goals.\r\n\r\nWhat is most exciting to the students is seeing colorful, clear, and personalized materials made just for them. They enjoy using picture-based activities, matching games, and hands-on tasks that keep them engaged and motivated throughout the day.\r\n\r\nSeveral students with communication and learning needs have especially benefited from this new technology. Some students respond positively to visual supports such as first/then boards and choice cards, while others are excited to complete printed matching activities and name practice sheets. The printer has helped us better meet each student's individual needs and has made learning more accessible, interactive, and fun.","fullyFundedDate":1758899076291,"projectUrl":"project/printing-possibilities-a-classroom-prin/9720120/","projectTitle":"Printing Possibilities: A Classroom Printer for Creativity and Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Castro-colon","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9601829_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1757812000326","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/mscastrocolon"},{"teacherId":9601829,"projectId":9769321,"letterContent":"Our students have been using the new matching binders, laminated activities, and Velcro materials every day during small group instruction and independent work time. These resources have been especially helpful for teaching students how to match colors, letters, numbers, shapes, and everyday objects in a hands-on and engaging way. One special classroom moment was watching a nonverbal student independently complete a matching task for the first time using the Velcro pieces. The student smiled proudly and immediately wanted to do another activity.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, they were very excited and curious. They were eager to touch the Velcro pieces, open the binders, and explore each page. Many of our students respond best to visual and tactile learning tools, so these resources immediately captured their attention and motivation.\r\n\r\nThe next steps for our students are to continue building independence, communication, and academic readiness skills through structured tasks. We are currently working on lessons that focus on sorting, early literacy, counting, and following directions. These materials will also help us create individualized activities based on each student's learning level, allowing every child to grow and succeed at their own pace.
