The students were thrilled to get new clipboards and trade in the 1980's big brown clunky ones with giant clips that stick up! The new ones fit better in their desks and are more colorful and fun to use. \r\n\r\nWhen they saw all the giant boxes with our bookcases they were blown away! It was perfect timing as we were doing a unit on how to writing and they saw me attempting to build the one (directions were key on that!). Now that we have several new bookcases, we could get rid of the oversized rolly carts that were doubled up and the bins and now can easily see all our books and have much more open space. They love to browse our classroom library area and search out a just right book for read to self time. \r\n\r\nThe miscellaneous prizes for our prize bin have been a big hit and the students now can see standards, vocabulary, and work easier with our magnetic rods and the display picture frames. As the frames are magnetic we can easily swap out artwork, writing pieces, or vocabulary and not ruin anything with tape. \r\n\r\nOur class has a NEW project up to add to our current Science kits as well as some cooperative games for indoor recess and Fun Friday time. They love to challenge themselves and we decided to try again to reach out for support.
