There is nothing more beautiful than watching students come up with an idea, put that idea into action, and follow through to its completion. The students had so much satisfaction in selecting the right instruments for this work, keeping the project within budget, and then getting the project fully funded through sharing. Once the initial heavy lifting was done, the real joy came when the items they had chosen for this heartwarming work arrived.\r\n\r\nThis project was designed to connect our students with people who have developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. My own students have a love of playing music. They knew there was tremendous power in building connections through music, especially to honor our beloved former superintendent, who believed so strongly in music's magical powers to connect and heal.\r\n\r\nWe have so much joying sharing these instruments with others. You will be able to see from the images provided that everyone benefited from this work.
