Students have been building away with the Magnatiles! They are using teamwork, problem solving, and emotional regulation while building by themselves-- sometimes the creation falls down(you can see a photo where this happened), or we have to pick up the blocks and put them away at the end of our time. These situations cause students to use emotional regulation skills as they might be dealing with sadness, frustration, or disappointment.\r\nIt has been so fun to watch students work together to build giant houses or towers. Students are working together and playing together which builds teamwork, problem solving, and creativity. My favorite build so far was a giant house with a washing machine and dryer, and a little lookout on top for an axolotl squishy.\r\nLastly, we are deeply appreciative of the snacks your donations provided. I've attached screenshots of teachers enthusiastically accepting my offer of extra snacks for their classrooms.
