The Sharpies, pencils, and markers give students the supplies they need to complete assignments, create projects, take notes, and express their creativity without worrying about running out of basic materials. The feminine hygiene products provide students with discreet access to an important need, allowing them to remain comfortable and focused on learning. Sanitizing wipes and Kleenex help us maintain a cleaner, healthier, and more welcoming classroom environment.\r\n\r\nThe students were excited and appreciative! Many students were especially happy to see the variety of writing and coloring supplies because they use them so frequently. They were also grateful to have everyday necessities such as Kleenex, sanitizing wipes, and feminine hygiene products readily available. These may seem like small things, but having them accessible helps students feel prepared, comfortable, and cared for at school.\r\n\r\nOur students will continue using these materials throughout the school year for daily assignments, creative projects, group activities, and classroom organization. We will continue encouraging students to take pride in their work and use the supplies responsibly. The hygiene and cleaning supplies will also remain available whenever students need them. The ladies know the cabinet and drawers these items are in and it's no asking needed, just grab what you need! \r\n\r\nMost importantly, these donations are helping create a classroom where students can focus on learning rather than worrying about whether they have the basic supplies or personal necessities they need. We are especially excited about the microwave because one of our kitchens has been without one for a few months. Since the Class K extinguisher is so large and heavy, this gives all of us more peace of mind that we could put a fire out if the event ever happened.
