While many of our donors may use technology at home, these Teachers Pay Teachers resources allow me to use it intentionally for instruction, transforming important health topics into interactive lessons, discussions, and activities that truly resonate with students. Instead of just reading about concepts like mental health or nutrition, students are actively participating, reflecting, and building practical skills they can use in their everyday lives.\r\n\r\nWhat has been most exciting is seeing how invested my students have become in their learning. They are eager to participate, ask deeper questions, and connect lessons to their own experiences. Topics like healthy relationships, social-emotional learning, and mental health have especially sparked meaningful conversations, helping students feel seen, heard, and supported. The hands-on and visually engaging materials have made even complex or sensitive topics approachable and relevant.\r\n\r\nI've also noticed particular growth in students who may not typically feel confident speaking up. With these new resources, they are more willing to engage, share their thoughts, and take ownership of their learning. The structure and creativity of these materials give all students an entry point, allowing them to build confidence while developing essential life skills. Your support has made a lasting impact by helping create a classroom environment where students feel empowered to learn about themselves and make healthy, informed choices. In September the students ran their own farmer's market and practiced counting change and cutting fruits and vegetables.
