This amazing piece of technology is helping my students grow as listeners, readers, and thinkers. The Yoto Player allows them to independently listen to high-quality stories and audiobooks, helping them build vocabulary, comprehension, and a love for language — even if they aren't yet strong readers.\r\n\r\nIn our classroom, the Yoto Player is used during literacy rotations and quiet reading time. Students scan the cards to choose the story they want to hear, and it gives them a sense of ownership and independence. It's also been a great tool for fostering focus and imagination — I've noticed students using rich language from the stories in their own writing and play.\r\n\r\nThe most exciting part for my students is getting to choose their own story card and press play — they feel so grown-up managing the device themselves! This project has truly brought stories to life for my young learners.
