The books in my project are going to be a staple in my classroom. These books will give my students a mirror to see themselves in, as well as a window into other people's lives. Our school has a lot of resources in English literacy, however needs your support to build our Spanish literacy. By giving my students access to interesting, engaging books in Spanish, you will support their dual-literacy and language learning. Students who find books that are interesting to them at an early age are more likely to be lifelong readers. My students are going to love getting their hands on these new books!
