The students just love having a pet to take care of. They have learned all about the fish and how to take care of him. They named him Mr. Bubbles! Isn't that a great name? We have really enjoyed reading the books about the library fish. The children think the fish in the stories is very funny, especially since he escapes his tank. My students loved getting an iPad case that makes their AAC device more accessible and user-friendly. They have already put the new screen protectors to the test, and they are working out wonderfully. It was great to see their smiling faces when the new cases were all set up and ready to go! We are also thankful for the cleaning products to help keep things clean and germ-free. As you can imagine, these iPads get pretty dirty with little hands communicating all day long. These items are helping us to build a sensational sensory room. This project gave them more items to place into sensory bins. These bins have colored rice and kinetic sand in them. The uppercase letter toys are placed into the kinetic sand bins to sneak in a little learning while having fun. The theraputty is used to work on their fine motor skills and to increase the muscle tone in their little hands. The kids love to make letters, shapes, and so much more out of this putty.
