In order to have a more successful year my class needs daily access to technology. Our school district has been working to build a supply of laptops and iPads, but budget constraints mean that teachers have to share a very limited amount of items. My students crave access to computers and iPads. They are motivated to work harder and invest more time in their education when I can include technology in our lessons. Many of my students come from homes where their parents are struggling to make ends meet. They don't have computers or tablets at their disposal. For the majority of my students, school is the only opportunity they have to learn and explore with technology.
