My (MD) Multiple Disabled Class provides specialized education programming for K-2 students with multiple needs. I base my lessons on grade level objectives that I have to modify and adapt. The students start off their day with morning work folders that are placed on their desks. It is followed by a responsive classroom approach, which is an approach to education that focuses on the relationship between academic success and social emotional learning. I then integrate the content areas of reading, writing, math, social studies and science into the daily schedule.
