Those students enjoyed your delicious treats after their fun day events. At our school, fun day is celebrated the last Friday of every month. It is a day to come together as a class and as a school. Typically, there are competitive events that the kids participate in such as volleyball, basketball, soccer or relay races. They bond as a class to compete against the other classes. The kids love it! It is a day to unwind a little and form lasting memories with their classmates and teachers. \r\n Needless to say, after all of the events, the kids are thirsty and hungry. Five different teachers distributed the various snacks and juice to them. It was a welcomed end to a tiring and fun day. I would not have been able to provide this for them without your generous donation. It is very much appreciated by all of us.","fullyFundedDate":1749215589770,"projectUrl":"project/fill-me-up/9190551/","projectTitle":"Fill Me Up","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Saravia","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp5037624_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1517164616424","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/p-saravia"},{"teacherId":8236233,"projectId":7419260,"letterContent":"Thanks to your generosity, learning in our classroom has become more engaging, interactive, and inclusive! With the new individual response boards, every student now has the opportunity to actively participate in lessons, practice new skills, and share their thinking without fear of making mistakes in front of the whole class.\r\n\r\nIn reading, we're using the boards to track key details, make predictions, and identify themes. In writing, students are practicing grammar skills, brainstorming ideas, and building stronger sentences. The boards have made it easier for me to quickly check for understanding and give immediate feedback, which helps students feel more confident and supported.\r\n\r\nI've seen some of my quieter students—who once hesitated to raise their hands—light up when they can hold up their boards and proudly share their answers. One student told me, \"I like this because I can show my work without being scared I'm wrong.\" Those small moments of confidence are making a huge difference.\r\n\r\nNow, reading and writing feel like team efforts, and every child has a voice.
