The students were literally jumping up and down when I unboxed the amazing items that were purchased with your donations. \r\n\r\nEvery item has been utilized and absolutely enhanced the fun in our learning. The prize wheel was probably the item with the widest impact. Students were really motivated and striving to earn tickets to get a spin on that wheel for fabulous prizes! It helped keep the kids' behavior in check towards the end of the school year, and I am so grateful!\r\n\r\nA close second place, goes to the finger lights! My students could not get enough of reading with them in a slightly darkened environment. It helped to make reading more fun, and for my struggling readers especially, these made them look forward to decodable reading time!\r\n\r\nTruly, all of the spinners, paper & paper cutter, finger pointers, laminating pouches, mini animal figurines, sheet protectors, and finger trackers were incredibly useful and helpful for making my lessons more engaging and exciting. They are fine-tuning their motor skills and learning to utilize twenty-first century equipment in my first grade class. With practice, this will set them on the path to being able to more confidently navigate technology and focus on their given task rather than the mechanics of using a computer.\r\n\r\nIn addition, the new seating options have been quite the crowd-pleaser! They are used frequently for utilization of computers, decodable readers, and math work! These tools give a great option to kids to find a position that is more comfortable and productive for them, not to mention they think they are super cool with these seats.\r\n\r\nAgain, I can't thank you enough for your generous donations!
