The clear bins you helped us get look clean and neat, and the students could see right through them to find book covers that will grab their attention and encourage them to read more! They were so excited to see the clear, new bins that organized the early chapter book section so perfectly.\r\n\r\nAfter the students chose their chapter books, they started to read them by sitting all over the library, in small groups, at tables, on the story carpet. You could hear a pin drop! As they read through their book, they use sticky notes to stop and jot about their characters, because, eventually they will need to provide support from the text to answer the question, \"Would you like to be friends with this character? Why or Why not?\"\r\n\r\nThank you again for helping to encourage the love of reading in our students by ensuring our library collection is user friendly to them!","fullyFundedDate":1738790510795,"projectUrl":"project/library-makeover-20-bring-on-the-bins/8862047/","projectTitle":"Library Makeover 2.0: Bring on the Bins!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Lupia-Fugere","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6290635_orig.png?crop=399,399,x8,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1557064068420","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6290635"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_81898","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":294,"numTeachers":25,"percentFrplEligible":19,"percentAsian":42,"percentBlack":3,"percentWhite":30,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":21,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 5","studentTeacherRatio":"11.8:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":false,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":66.7,"schoolId":81898,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Troy Hills Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Troy Hills Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/new-jersey/parsippany-troy-hills-township-school-district/troy-hills-elementary-school/81898"}
