My 7th grade students used the breathing cards, chair yoga poses, and mindfulness activities to practice skills such as self-regulation, stress management, focus, and emotional awareness. These brief mindfulness breaks helped students transition into learning and refocus during challenging moments throughout the school day. The chime became a staple of our classroom, and we lovingly started calling these moments a \"brain bath.\"\r\n\r\nThe resources were especially beneficial for students who struggled with anxiety, frustration, or staying engaged in class. Over time, I saw students independently use breathing techniques when feeling overwhelmed and actively request mindfulness activities when they needed a reset. These tools helped create a calmer classroom environment and gave students practical strategies they can continue using long after leaving my classroom. Thank you for supporting both their academic success and overall well-being.","fullyFundedDate":1755369476337,"projectUrl":"project/mindful-moments-tools-for-focus-and-cal/9584306/","projectTitle":"Mindful Moments: Tools for Focus and Calm in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Rose","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10050548_orig.jpg?crop=140,140,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754142768124","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/julieroseclassfund"},{"teacherId":10050548,"projectId":9566168,"letterContent":"Thank you for your generous support of our classroom through this project.\r\n\r\nYour contribution has provided fun incentives that I have used throughout the year to reinforce positive behavior and create a more supportive learning environment.
