Genuine student curiosity is something every teacher hopes for. When students want to learn, it makes their educational experience better. By supplementing my classroom curriculum with current event activities like Scholastic magazines, students will be able to take a break from the planned curriculum and relate what they learned in class to their daily lives. Scholastic offers fantastic hyper-relevant content that is not only up to date but is also trendy enough to create student motivation. When a student picks up a Scholastic magazine, they see content that not only relates to them and their interests but is also highly educational and aligned with NJ state standards. By funding this project, you are not only providing current event content to students but are freeing up much-needed classroom budget space that will be used for other essential supplies not offered on Donors Choose.
