They read chapter by chapter and were awestruck by the story. We drew illustrations and created posters, did research projects and investigated. Each day, the kids were excited to continue reading the book. Whenever a day came that we couldn't read, the kids were so disapppointed. \r\nGoing forward, I will use this book each winter and I will build on the lesson plans connected to the book.
