Our students know they can come down to the Wellness Center if they need any food, clothing, or hygiene products and we will provide it to them at no charge. \r\nOur Kinder to 5th grade students often struggle with food and housing insecurity so new or hygiene related items are often a luxury they cannot afford. When teachers see students with holes in their shoes or shoes that do not fit, they send them to me to see if I can help. I have already given away one pair of shoes since this project was funded and the smile on the child's face was priceless.\r\nSince we have a young population of students, there are often drink spills or toileting accidents that require us to change the students' clothes. Your donation of underwear and pants will be used by children in all the grades! \r\nAnd the gloves have been a life saver! These past few weeks in NJ have been in the negative numbers.
