The addition of the resources has brought joy, peace, concentration, and happiness to our learning environment. All of the classes that I teach in addition to the teachers who have class in my room have had the opportunity to use the resources. \r\nWe received balance chairs that provide sensory engagement during class time. This has provided students with greater focus while working, something to talk about with friends, and a way to destress during the school day. Our workload sometimes brings students into the hallway right outside our classroom. The sensory chairs provide a fun atmosphere to the hallway and focus to students. \r\nThe sensory stickers have been a subtle means for destressing. Caring for these expensive dresses and storing them safely means that every year we will be able to offer formal gowns to young women who will attend a milestone event. \r\n\r\nWe have heard from the young women in our school and community that having a gown to wear to the prom is a huge financial pressure. The Prom Boutique offers so many beautiful options without any cost. The young women look beautiful and enjoy their evening feeling confident.\r\n\r\nOur National Honor Society will continue this service project of offering gowns to the school and community at no cost.
