The day the boxes arrived my students and I were so excited to use the materials for our Steam activities that we did throughout the spring.\r\n\r\nWe studied magnets and we could not have done it without the magnet kits we received through Donors Choose. The students were so excited to see how the magnets worked and the magnet filings were a big hit!\r\n\r\nEvery student also was able to make a Lego Gear Bot with the kits we received. This was great to help them understand the importance of following directions. The wonderful result of this was kids who don't always shine in paper and pencil tasks were stars at working with their hands.\r\n\r\nOn top of all this the poster paper and color pencils came in handy for sharing the learning we did through out the spring. Please see the photos for a sample of our learning.
