This tactile approach has been especially powerful for emerging readers and writers and gives them confidence and independence as they develop essential language skills.\r\n\r\nOur Playful Penguins Ice Blocks were a huge hit and brought an exciting, interactive, and open ended element to our penguin unit. Students investigated concepts such as gravity while strengthening fine motor skills and concentration. These playful experiences sparked curiosity and made learning feel like an adventure.\r\n\r\nThe colored pencils, glue sticks, and art books have opened the door to endless creativity. From illustrating stories about the Titanic, to penguin lifecycle books, and a variety of art activities.
