We do many mini research projects in 4th and 5th grade. We have a computer lab that is available to us, but only on designated days. Having extra Chromebooks in the classroom is a great advantage to my students that are not so skilled on the computer. This lets them have the extra time they need to finish any reports we have due without the pressure of a certain amount of time in the lab. They also give all of the students access to the skills that are required for our grade level.
