These sensory support items have given our students safe ways to calm their bodies when they are feeling over stimulated. They love curling up with a book in our new black out sensory tent with the led fish aquarium inside or rocking around in the sensory inflatables. \r\n\r\nNow that my students have found ways to calm their bodies they love exploring the new learning toys. They love getting to check their work on their hotdots learning pens! Students have begun using the shape shorter to name shapes and colors! They have also loved having their work put in laminate so that it can make it last longer when brought home. \r\nMy students were so excited when they got their new workbooks they ask to open and write their name on it right away. These donations are a light inside of my classroom and it brings me a lot of joy to have their work showcased.\r\nWith these supplies my class will be able to have their writing stored nicely in one place thanks to the composition books and being able to have their work hung up on the bulletin boards and being kept nicely in the laminate to send home.
