My 2nd graders are in a rural setting in Nevada with more than 50% from low-income households and due to COVID restrictions, technology inspirational ideas help them succeed towards a bright future. These Chromebooks will help fill their happy minds with the Nevada Academic Content Standards of in the Language Arts standard of RL 2.3 as students describe how characters in a story respond to major events and challenges. Chromebooks are able to open up students to a world of reading as the applications we use in this 2nd grade classroom contain hundreds of on-line books and reading opportunities.
