Many students enjoy using their fingers to trace letters and numbers in the same. This is a fun way for them to practice their letters, numbers, and sight words. The containers included in this project has made my life so much easier. The container is, first of all a great way to store the sand while in use and not in use. I am able to hand out the sand easily in the carrying case and, if needed, only get out a few cases at time. This tool allowed me to have student write their answer on their whiteboard and hide it until they were asked to show it. Since my students are so young and not experienced with using Chromebooks, this allowed my students to show what they were learned and their answers did not get lost in the technology.
