Thank you!\r\n\r\nWe've used flip-charts to display data from class experiments, create anchor charts, and do group stations (see attached pictures for some of their work!)\r\nWe've used the whiteboard slates and markers to do daily warm up. \r\n\r\nThe dry-erase graph paper was a huge hit to help easily (and accurately) graph rational functions quickly, being able to erase and re-sketch quickly. Colored pencils have been used to color-code our notes. This was especially helpful when teaching students how to build the Unit Circle and notice patterns between reference angles and similar positions in different quadrants. \r\n\r\nHaving ready resouces has made lessons more engaging and meaningful. That quickly turned into confidence and pride as they learned how to use it safely and saw the quality of what they were able to create. From the posters and poster paper to the individual whiteboards and markers, the students have enjoyed the materials!\r\n\r\nI recently completed a lesson where the students were partnered up and were assigned a multi-step equation to solve. In order to assess the students' work, they were required to complete their work on the individual whiteboards and hold them up when they finished. This allowed me to quickly and efficiently assess their understanding. As an added benefit, the students found it fun and engaging to use the whiteboards, markers, and individual erasers rather than completing the assignment on paper.\r\n\r\nFor a review activity prior to a test, students were provided large poster paper \"post-it\" notes in which they were required to complete a practice questions from their review packet. They then posted the solutions around the room and spent the better half of a class period presenting/explaining their work to their peers. Thus, students were involved in their own learning while being responsible for the learning/understanding of others (with my guidance!).\r\n\r\nThank you again for the donation.
