My students work for classroom cash that they are able to spend on incentives each Friday. The fuzzy and squishy treasure box items have been motivating them to work harder in class and at home so they can earn more classroom cash and buy more items from the treasure box. \r\n\r\nThe headphones you purchased for our class have kept all of the students plugged in and learning during computer time. Most students came to school with headphones at the beginning of the year, however, headphones are delicate and months and months of daily use takes its toll on even the best set of headphones. Being able to provide new headphones for the students who need them makes me feel like teacher of the year! \r\n\r\nThe classroom supplies provided have allowed my students to create memorable projects for their families. With the funding of the computer ink, standing and mobile whiteboard/easel, large and small chart paper, and incentives to encourage student behavior, we have been able to tap into further learning with the use of colored anchor charts to focus on differentiation amongst our kids and really meet the needs of the unique students in our learning community. The use of the mobile whiteboard has been amazing for small group as well and whole group instruction. The incentives have empowered our students to take charge of their learning and testing experience and future with these tools.
