Having Chromebooks in the classroom for the students to use, will allow my third graders to research independently during writing, publish their writing, create slide show presentations, and access computer programs that will challenge their math skills. Chromebooks are great to use in the classroom because their portability allows the students to work at their seats as part of a group. Students can collaborate online to create shared slideshow projects. Students who need a challenge will be able to work independently among classmates with out disturbing each other. During research activities, students can share their learning and the Chromebook to support their learning. Having Chromebooks in the classroom will allow students to have a multitude of learning options at their fingertips.
