I teach 4th grade at Robert Taylor Elementary School in Henderson, NV. Many students are struggling with their endeavor to learn to read. These struggles may be due to a variety of reasons including learning disabilities, languages other than English spoken at home, or gaps in learning due to the transient nature of our community. These students are at risk of falling further behind their peers and possibly being retained. It is evident that these students push themselves harder than many other students and are deserving to have additional opportunities to help them improve their literacy. Thank you for anything you can give to help these students!

About my class
