As you know organization in the classroom is essential to create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment that maximizes instructional time and with your generous donation, this vision is certainly becoming a reality! \r\n\r\nThe students were in AWE when we opened the large boxes together and saw all the colorful bins and could not wait to put them to use. \r\n\r\nThe next steps for this project are to color code the centers to not only encourage independence and responsibility, but to help me as well to set up centers based on the students independent needs. The storage materials are being used to organize the vast amount of manipulatives we have in our school. In a sense, you have helped create a math library for teachers and students. When teachers ask me for math materials, they simply know to come to my classroom and sign out what they need! I have recently had multiple teachers ask for geo-blocks, fake money, and extra cubes. They shared that they loved how easily they could drop by, grab what they need, and get back to work. \r\n\r\nMy classroom is also home to the math RTI group where students report to get some extra small group time with me, the math strategist. My math kiddos know that they can get what they need for our structured activity or to complete their assigned work. It's not easy to keep up with the fast-pace world of being a student. Especially when students need the hands-on manipulatives to solve complex or higher-level math concepts. To us, regrouping is easy! To a 1st or 2nd grader; its a developmental concept that requires lots of practice, lots of number sense, and lots of hands on experience. My RTI kiddos know that they can get the practice that they need, with the materials they need, in my room. \r\n\r\nLastly, the additional storage supplies are have already being used to support in other areas. Need a tote to store and stow-away some small group materials in a pod? Mr. E is on the way! Need small baskets to keep small dice organized for centers? Mr. E is your guy! Have an idea for STEM and need space? Mr. E is your man! As a strategist, we are the \"teachers\" coach, support, and \"go-to\" person for needs. Through our support, our involvement, and careful planning with teachers, we impact more students than a single teacher. If teachers wear \"many caps\" on in a school day, strategists wear even more so since our presence supports the school as whole.","fullyFundedDate":1768689022600,"projectUrl":"project/organization-for-students-and-teachers/10021636/","projectTitle":"Organization for Students and Teachers","teacherDisplayName":"Mr. Escobedo","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/1751427"},{"teacherId":9053514,"projectId":10008643,"letterContent":"Thanks to your donation, we were able to purchase a spiral notebook binding machine, which has already made a meaningful impact on our students' learning experience. One of our favorite moments was during a \"Team Challenge Day,\" where students rotated through stations. It was amazing to see students encouraging each other, laughing, and problem-solving together. Even students who are usually hesitant to participate were smiling and fully engaged.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate.
