My students were able to get their hands messy with real clay to sculpt and create little masterpieces. \r\n\r\nMy students were so excited to learn clay sculpting skills and techniques to make pinch pots. They learned how to make 3D forms and were given a choice of foods or animals.\r\n\r\nAfter the clay dried, students were able to make their creations come to life by painting them with acrylic paints of their choosing. The prizes serve as a small but powerful reward that shows students their hard work is noticed and appreciated.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the treasure box and the prizes they could win, they were extremely excited. Their faces lit up as they looked through the different options, and many were eager to talk about which prize they hoped to earn.
