They are SO excited to use the folders to help them organize their writing. Having binders makes them feel \"so grown up\" and allows them to have pride in keeping their materials neat. We are starting our new writing project, descriptive writing. The folders actually have descriptive words written in them to help my students give their writing extra help! It's amazing! They love having those tools at their fingertips. They love having materials that are their own, that they don't have to share. The binders have already started being used to hold their vocabulary words and their anchor charts which help them all along their writing process.","fullyFundedDate":1759171959767,"projectUrl":"project/help-my-students-love-writing/9723623/","projectTitle":"Help My Students LOVE Writing","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ramos","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9269243_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1694284223560","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9269243"},{"teacherId":6103129,"projectId":8381220,"letterContent":"I think of my classroom decorations, and other back to school ideas, as ways to set a particular atmosphere in my room. I want my room's personalities to reflect a warm, inviting, academic tone that makes a positive first impression. It can create a whole new world for students and be used to stimulate their imaginations. Therefore I chose a Dr. Seuss theme.\r\n\r\nHaving a cohesive look contributes to the overall harmony of my environment. But the real value is how I can apply it to my classroom management throughout the year. Using the four colors, I can call students by color, students know what testing wall belongs to them, and if a blue pencil is found they can easily find its owner are just a few examples.\r\n\r\nWhen students first first enter my room, they are in awe. They have never seen a classroom like mine. I use color in a constructive way to bring on the bright and get rid of the institutional off-white! I make my walls count and they are a living part of the learning experience. The colored pencil boxes that were purchased have allowed me to continue this theme and help with management. Your contribution to my class has kept my theme going and made school fun for the kids. Thank you so much.","fullyFundedDate":1725051479465,"projectUrl":"project/organization-is-the-key/8381220/","projectTitle":"Organization Is the Key","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Cheraso","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-5_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6103129"},{"teacherId":9269243,"projectId":8834567,"letterContent":"Thank you for allowing my students to expand on their math facts!
