These materials will be used to supply support students in a self-contained environment. By promoting self regulation at an early age, the goal is to get students to understand, identify, and voice their feelings using coping skills. My students have needs that are unable to be met by standard materials. We utilize items in the classroom for reinforcement, and those that promote positive behaviors, taking into account student preferences. The specific standards being addressed and taught yearly with these items are Health 1.PCE.K.1 Identify a variety of healthy practices and behaviors to maintain or improve personal, community, and environmental health.

About my class
