The materials purchased through Donor's Choose helped my students create many beautiful pieces of art. They used the glue guns, and scissors to make moveable mouths on paper nutcrackers. This was a way to show my students movement in art. The students also created Picasso Owl collages where they combined geometric lines and shapes to create a cubist owl. The scissors were precise and nonstick. The glue guns were superior compared to using regular glue. When used, pieces are secure, less messy, and the glue is invisible. The students were excited to use the new materials and showed heightened engagement for the lessons because of the quality of the equipment to make the art.
