The student work I submitted shows how excited they have been to read Magic Tree House and use their imagination to write about the adventures they experience through the books.\r\n\r\nReading in our classroom has become an opportunity to grow both as readers and as people. During read alouds, students ask questions, make predictions, discuss characters, and connect the lessons in stories to their own lives. I was able to shift from the standard shelving organization to organizing the books into browsing bins so students can see all the books that are available. This has helped students access more books and find books that they really enjoy reading. \r\n\r\nWhen they first saw the new system of organizing, they thought that I had ordered all new books.
