My room is filled with students from all over the world. If you were to walk in their shoes for a day you would meet and experience the beauty and cultures from Africa, Asia, South America, and across North America. You would also find out quickly that life has not always afforded them the same opportunities as many. The majority of my students and their families are refugees from all over the world. We are considered to be what is called the "Highest Poverty" category. These kids have worked hard, and come far from where they began at the beginning of our year together. I want to continue to invest in their hopes for a better future through their education today. Your consideration of my students is appreciated more than you can know!
