We played \"That's Just Wrong\" to learn about the principles of negligence. The students love being the head justice and reading the case and then deliberating which way the ruling went.\r\nIn ELA, we have tried out many of the games and have been working to make them more accessible by adding braille labels, scanning some of them to then print in large print, etc. The students are learning ELA skills, but also learning how they can take commercial games and adapt them for their unique vision needs. Favorites include Scattergories, Bananagrams and Ransom Notes.\r\nGame-based learning is a great way to get kids excited about topics.
