We have a mix of students learning in a traditional classroom and those learning in home environments. With an ever-changing instructional climate in 2020, we need portable technology for accessibility and access across multiple settings.
Students with visual impairments need the ability to not only hear verbalized instruction and commentary from peers, but also listen to screen readers within their digital classroom applications to access printed content. With multiple learners engaged in this process, they would benefit from each having their own pair of headphones for audio content, but also need microphones to interact with one another and use accessibility options like speech-to-text features. Many of our students are using multiple pieces of technology to accomplish virtual classrooms while simultaneously engaging within digital classroom platforms, so we need a product that is fairly universal regardless of what device they are using. We hope these microphones with headphones will fulfill these needs!
