My students were so excited to walk in and see our new designated sensory area. They all crowded over there to see what was available in the bins on the new shelf. At first I thought I was the only one who would get excited over the shelf, but it turns out the joy was felt through the whole classroom!\r\n\r\nThe shelf has created a defined space for our sensory work. They know where to go to find it now. The bins allow for me to have additional material out to work with. The students can take it to a table use it, then put it away and bring it back to the space it now lives. It has helped them feel comfortable knowing where things are and develops responsibility, in making sure they get things put back in the right space. \r\n\r\nThank you so much for helping create this wonderful space for my friends.
