We are incredibly grateful and your contribution has allowed us to create a library that will be enjoyed for many years to come.\r\n\r\nThe books purchased focus on classical masterpieces, famous composers, musical concepts and different genres in music. They were carefully picked to be sure there was a selection available for every grade level. Some of the books play clips of the music it is teaching. Others go in depth into the lives of famous musicians over a variety of genres. The students have already shown excitement and interest and can't wait to read them all. \r\n\r\nThe library will be utilized in several ways. As a part of my curriculum I often refer to certain books to reinforce concepts we are learning. We also do musical centers at least once a quarter where students are able to pick a book they are interested in and read independently. The noise canceling headphones that were purchased are a huge hit because it allows the students to focus on their reading while other centers are taking place.\r\n\r\n Thank you once again for your invaluable support.
