The students have received treats from the treasure box for listening so well during lessons, lining up so nicely, being respectful, and awesome behavior in CAMP (computers, art, music, and PE) which allowed them to earn three traveling trophies.\r\n\r\nThe students know that when they come into the classroom that they are loved and the expectations for the day. I always tell them to try their best. Everyday we discuss having nice hands, nice feet and nice words. They demonstrate the expectations in the classroom and with other teachers that they see in the building.\r\n \r\nI have the best first graders. We use direct instruction and stories for every project that we do, and I introduce new projects weekly. This rug will be used nearly daily.
