My students know that when they are anxious or feeling panicky, they can ask for one of these fidgets and it will help them calm themselves down.\r\nWe had a presentation about depression and teen mental health and many of my students were upset because they were reminded of past trauma. Almost all of them benefitted from using the \"worry stones\" and I quickly passed them out as I could see the anxiety spreading throughout the class. Students had so many ideas of how they could combine their stories, goals and love for our school into a Tshirt design. The coolest part was when they didn't want one design to win but that they combined all of their designs into one because, we are one community. Then students cut the design using vinyl, put them on screens, and printed over 250 shirts by hand. Afterwards, students ironed them, did quality checks, organized & packaged them. They created labels for each \"order\" and delivered them across our school and even to\r\nLeaders in our district. Students were so proud to wear their shirts for our first spirit day.
