Watching videos through the Speed Stacks' website of my student's peers competing around the world with some of the fastest times really got them excited. My students were engaged and invested because they all had the ability to use their own equipment. \r\n\r\nThere was so much energy to perform and do well. The timers were a big hit! They wanted to compete against each other to be the fastest in the class and even wanted to compete against the adults in the room. I sent photos to our teachers so students were recognized throughout the day for their hard work in PE! Several students kept updating me about their new personal best times with such enthusiasm. Even my students who typically shy away from team activities really enjoyed finding their level of success with Speed Stacks because it leveled the playing field for all abilities. I want my students to walk away knowing that physical activity is fun and can look any way they want it to. \r\n\r\nThe entire experience and unit with Speed Stacks would not have been possible without you. As I continue to build our new Physical Education program, I find myself inspired by generous donors who equally want my students to experience and excel. Having equipment that my students can use is a game changer; it allows more units of learning, more opportunities to try different sports and more students being active at the same time.
