My students were beyond excited when our class set of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets arrived. They absolutely loved reading the first book, and many of them had been asking all year if we would get to continue Harry's story. The excitement on their faces when they received their own copy of the second book was priceless.\r\n\r\nThese books have helped my students strengthen important reading skills such as making inferences, analyzing characters, identifying themes, and supporting their thinking with text evidence. Our classroom has been filled with meaningful discussions, predictions, and excitement as students work together to solve mysteries and follow Harry's adventures. Even some of my reluctant readers have become eager to participate and can't wait to find out what happens next.\r\n\r\nI was especially touched to learn that one of these generous donations was made in memory of a beloved daughter. Please know that her memory is making a difference in the lives of my students every single day. Through this gift, she has helped bring joy, imagination, and a love of reading to a classroom full of children. Even students who once struggled to stay focused are asking to read more and sharing their ideas with classmates.
