Instead of worrying about how to meet the animals' basic needs, students are now able to focus on learning and practicing responsible animal care.\r\n\r\nThis experience has become more than just recovery, it has been a powerful lesson in resilience, teamwork, and stewardship. Students are repairing enclosures, monitoring animal health, and making daily care plans. They are seeing firsthand how preparation, compassion, and hard work help a community recover from challenges. These are life skills they will carry far beyond the classroom.\r\n\r\nMost importantly, your support has reminded my students that people they may never meet believe in them and in the value of hands-on learning.
