My students are an incredible group of high school special education learners with a wide range of abilities, strengths, personalities, and learning needs. Each student learns differently, so our classroom focuses on meeting them where they are while helping them become as independent and confident as possible. What makes my students special is their determination. Some skills that may come easily to others require additional practice, patience, repetition, and hands-on experiences for my students. We celebrate every accomplishment because every step toward independence matters.
