It has given them a creative outlet to express their ideas, feelings, and unique perspectives in ways that words sometimes cannot. Many students who may be quieter in the classroom or hesitant to take risks in other subjects show confidence and excitement when creating art. I have seen growth in their problem-solving skills as they make choices about colors, shapes, and techniques, as well as persistence when they revise their work to match their vision.\r\n\r\nArt has also strengthened our classroom community. Students encourage each other, admire one another's creations, and learn to appreciate different styles and points of view. The process of making art has built patience, focus, and pride in their accomplishments. Most importantly, it has given them joy, sparked curiosity, and helped them see themselves as capable creators.","fullyFundedDate":1753461430342,"projectUrl":"project/artists-in-the-making-empowering-creati/9430224/","projectTitle":"Artists in the Making: Empowering Creativity in the Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Jasmer","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/272x272/tp4990185_272x272.jpg?width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1522259299755","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/4990185"},{"teacherId":4801559,"projectId":9234516,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for your generosity with these new books. The students were given a challenge and had to work together to solve the porblem. They had to plan, create, and test their design.
