These iPads will allow students to communicate with other students who do not speak English in our classroom. This will allow them to use different conversation apps so every student can feel apart of our classroom. Along with the communication piece, students will get to experience virtual reality while using the iPad along with other apps. With the iPad, students will get to explore different science topics through virtual reality. Some examples include diagrams of the heart, observing different rocks, and distinguishing different functions of the body. Students will also be able to use the iPads to program robots that perform certain functions. This will allow students to develop coding skills, which in turn prepare them for future careers they may enjoy.
