I try to create, change, and update my classroom environment to not only help kids feel comfortable and at home but also to help them be inspired! We have a standing table and a sitting table (with pillows), but I would love to get some kneeling pads for my kids that love having their legs tucked underneath them. I would also like to get some seat cushions for my kids who love having a chair to sit on but need to be able to wiggle just that "little bit" to stay focused. I'd also like to provide my students with some different stools that allow them to sit and still wobble a bit so they can wiggle and move while concentrating. My kids are so excited about learning with many of them thrilled about writing their names, writing their numbers to ten, and even reading practice books to relatives at home! Our classroom is organized so our work area is in front of the smart board which has been a very successful idea so far this year! However, this area doesn't provide a lot of room for me to move in and around the kids as they're working. In order to create a more comfortable environment for all of us, I'd like to get two different tables that would allow for a better flow amongst my kids while they are working hard.
