One of our favorite moments so far has been during math practice, when students solve problems on their boards and eagerly hold them up to share their thinking. The prizes have been a huge motivator—students are excited to participate, take risks, and stay focused because their effort is recognized and celebrated. These tools have helped turn math time into an active, hands-on experience instead of a passive one.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the materials, their excitement was immediate and contagious. They were especially thrilled to have their own dry erase boards and colorful markers, and many couldn't wait to try them out. Several students who are usually hesitant during math lessons became more confident and willing to participate once they realized mistakes could be erased and learning could feel fun. The prizes also created a positive classroom atmosphere, encouraging teamwork, perseverance, and a growth mindset.\r\n\r\nMoving forward, we are continuing to use these interactive tools during small-group instruction, math games, and problem-solving challenges. Students are applying what they've learned by explaining their reasoning, checking their work, and collaborating with classmates.
