After this last school year, the gap in classrooms is larger than ever. We are hoping to get as many resources as possible to reach all students. These chapter books will be used to engage readers and to inspire those who are working towards their reading goals. Teachers have 2 hours a day to work with students on reading skills. Not only will students be reading, but they will be working on having conversations about topics in the book, expanding their vocabulary, and connecting stories to their own lives. I have seen what high quality books have done for our students, which is why I'm making an effort to add more to our school. Reading the reviews of these texts, I know students will have some great conversations about life and will learn a ton along the way.
